Saga Robotics develops, sells and provides on a Farming as a Service (FaaS) basis autonomous robots for chemical free pest management, currently focusing on soft fruits and vineyards.
Investment rationale
Saga’s technology is based on Thorvald, a multi-functional platform where applications can be added, the main one being a UVC arc for treating powdery mildew. The platform is lightweight, versatile and cost effective. It can be used for a number of autonomous tasks around the farm or vineyard. Saga has gained the interest of some of the world’s largest producers who are using its Thorvald platform and UVC technology.
