AgroStar, a leading AgTech platform in our portfolio is supporting millions of Indian farmers, has raised $30 million in equity funding from Just Climate, part of Generation Investment Management. Existing investors also participated in the round.
Through its AI-driven technology and an omnichannel network of over 10,000 retail stores, AgroStar provides farmers with agronomy advice, high-quality inputs, and global market access. The company now reaches more than 10 million farmers and exports fresh produce to 25+ countries under its Kimaye brand.
The new investment will enable AgroStar to expand nationally, develop climate-smart products, and strengthen its AI capabilities—helping farmers increase yields, reduce costs, and adopt more sustainable practices.
