Jeroen van der Staay

Jeroen joined Rabo Ventures in January of 2025 driven by his deeply felt desire to make an impact and help nourish a world with 10 billion people. He joins after a distinguished career in Management Consultancy (OC&C Strategy Consultants), Private Equity (VE Partners) and the Food & Agri sector (Cargill). Prior to joining Rabo Ventures he served in a dual role as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Commercial Officer on the management team of Protix, the global market leader in insect ingredients for food and feed.

Jeroen holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management from the University of Groningen and a Master of Laws from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam and was honoured to be included in the ‘Next Leadership 50’ by MT/Sprout Magazine (NL) and Vlerick Business School (BE) in 2022.
