Maxim van Hoorn

Maxim is an Investment Associate at the Rabo Investments Corporate Venturing team, where he focuses on direct investments in high-potential FinTech, Payments, and Technology companies at the Series A and B stage.

Before joining Rabo Investments, Maxim worked at Flagship Advisory Partners, advising leading investors on M&A strategy in the payments and fintech space, supporting large cap transactions and market-entry projects. Before going to INSEAD he also gained private equity experience at Avedon Capital Partners, contributing to mid-market buy-and-build strategies.

Maxim holds an MBA from INSEAD (Merit and Diversity Scholar), an MSc in Finance from the University of Amsterdam (Distinguished Thesis Award), and a BSc from Babson College (Summa Cum Laude).
