Bernadette Lee

Bernadette joined Rabo Investments in March 2026, driven by her desire to accelerate impactful innovations that address the climate challenge. With a background in biotechnology, she began her career at Wilmar International, a global agribusiness group, where she worked on novel R&D projects designed to support the company’s sustainability objectives.

Motivated to support these innovations from an investment perspective, Bernadette transitioned into climate focused venture investing. She gained experience across early and later stage VC funds in the UK and Germany, where she evaluated and supported companies advancing the bioeconomy and decarbonization technologies.

Bernadette holds a BSc (First Class Honours) in Biology from Nanyang Technological University and an MSc in Sustainable Bioeconomy from Université Paris‑Saclay (AgroParisTech).
