Description of the portfolio company
Qdoc is an IT managed services provider focussed on SME+ customers. As a one-stop-shop they provide SMEs with full-service solutions ranging from online workplaces and cyber security and from printing to a complete coffee concept. From their head office in Eindhoven and the other locations in Breda and Boxtel they provide services to over 5,000+ customers across the Netherlands (focused on the southern region). Services are offered as a packaged offer or individually depending on the needs of the customers.
Investment rationale
In 2018 Rabo Investments acquired a minority position in Qdoc next to its founder Mark Schellekens. At that point the company was a full-service and brand-independent provider of multifunctionals/printers with associated software solutions. Over the investment period Qdoc has made a transition towards a full-service IT provider, and now print-scan is one of the broad range of services offered by Qdoc. The strong management team, lean organization and digital operations provides for a strong platform to acquire smaller local IT players to further strengthen the proposition and geographic footprint.
