Our people

Mathieu brings 16 years of private equity experience with a strong track record in PE transactions and value enhancement projects across various industries, such as healthcare, business services, and sustainability. He has a robust network in the F&A sector and has lived and worked abroad in Canada and the US. With an entrepreneurial mindset, he has set up several businesses and has experience in developing and hiring teams. Mathieu has previously worked for Insinger de Beaufort, Waterland, Mentha Capital, Gate Invest, and Create Capital. Rabo Investments is very happy to further strengthen the Private Equity team with Mathieu as Head.

Annelijn joined Rabo Investments in January 2025, focusing on Fund and Co-Investments in the global Food & Agri and Sustainability sectors as well as investments in the Netherlands across all sectors. She joined Rabobank in 2012 as legal counsel after which she held various other (commercial) positions. Before joining the team, Annelijn worked within Financial Advisory & Solutions where she focused on the origination, structuring, and execution of junior capital/equity-like and structured solutions for corporate clients, impact funds and private equity investors. She worked in both the European and the US market. In 2023, she was based at the New York office. Annelijn holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Leiden.

Denisa joined Rabo Ventures in March 2024 where she combines her passion for technology and impact. Denisa was previously an investment analyst at Newion, focusing on B2B SaaS early-stage investments where she worked on Ellie.ai and Delphai investments (acquired by Intapp – Nasdaq listed). She started her career in the commercial department of IBM where she had the opportunity to get acquainted with different technology solutions, after which she completed internships in corporate development at Kubota (strategic agritech investments) and HPE Growth (growth equity).
Denisa holds a master’s degree from Erasmus University in Financial Economics and a bachelor’s in business economics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Albena is a Venture Partner with Rabo Ventures since July 2021. She has a significant expertise in food and agriculture venture investments, backed by a previous career in M&A and portfolio management.
Prior to joining Rabo, Albena was working for Sumitomo Corporation, managing their food and agriculture technologies investments in Europe and Israel. She invested in early stage startups in the farmtech, biotech and foodtech space and lead business development activities, helping the portfolio companies increase their customer base within the 900+ companies big Sumitomo Corporation Group.
Albena has a M.A. degree in Digital Management from Hyper Island, also known as Europe’s Digital Harvard University, and Teesside University. Her grandparents on both sides were farmers and agronomists which she takes great pride in.

Alex joined the Corporate Ventures team of Rabo Investments in 2022. Within the CV team, Alex is focusing on direct investments in the Climate Fintech & Agtech space and works with Rabobank’s business lines and the invested ventures to accelerate value creation.
Prior to joining Rabobank, Alex worked as a strategy consultant at KPMG, where he has been involved in projects on Corporate Strategy, Commercial Due Dilligence, and Business Model Innovation in a variety of sectors. Additionally, he worked as a Venture Manager at a technology scale-up, where he was responsible for launching and running new ventures in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
This role combines his interest in innovative technologies and his ambition to accelerate sustainable transformations through investments. Alex holds a Master degree in Game Theory and Behavioural Economics of the University of Amsterdam.

Andreea joined Rabo Investments in April 2022 but before she was part of the Treasury and Cash Management team where she managed the cash reserves of the bank and provided liquidity for all branches/departments of Rabobank around the world. Prior to this, she completed her treasury experience for large corporates in different fields like pharmaceutical industry, retail and telecommunications.
During her experience in corporate treasury she did not only learn about the importance of liquidity, hedging, investment or managing debts but she also got to value the importance of being in compliance with regulators and knowing your customers; knowledge that she is now applying to different funds/entities where Rabo Investments is a stakeholder. Andreea holds a Master’s Degree in Health Services Management and a Post Graduate’ Degree in Fundamentals of Treasury at Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.

Arjan is principally focused on working with young, fast growing scale-up companies and more mature mid-market companies. With experience in debt, equity and hybrid solutions, Arjan is adept to structure tailored solutions for growth companies in whatever lifecycle phase they may be.
Arjan started his career as a management trainee at Rabobank, during which he worked for Global Client Solutions, the Financial Institutions Group and the Mergers & Acquisitions department. He followed his traineeship with a two year tenor at Global Client Solutions, the wholesale unit dedicated to structured and subordinated finance solutions. Since joining Rabo Investments he has been working on risk-bearing debt and equity transactions.
Arjan graduated with a double bachelor’s degree, a double master’s degree, and a post-grad in business, economics, international relations and diplomacy from Leiden University, the Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Australian National University and the Clingendael Institute of International Relations. He currently reads for a degree in Laws at Queen Mary, University of London.

Arnaud Zwaal joined the Fund & Co-Investments team of Rabo Investments in March 2024 as an Associate Director. He will focus on further expanding the European co-investments portfolio together with existing and new private equity partners. Prior to Rabobank, Arnaud spent seven years at EY Strategy and Transactions with an emphasis on lead M&A advisory and complex valuation analysis. During the last three years he focused on direct equity investments in food and agriculture ventures at an impact fund.

Arnoud has been with Rabo Investments since December 2019, focussing on the Risk & Control environment of RI and its liaisons with the corporate departments of the Rabobank, such as Compliance, Risk Management, Legal, Tax. Arnoud gained relevant international working experience in the field of performance management, governance and risk management in various positions within Achmea, as an Operational Risk Manager within MN and as a consultant.
Arnoud holds a Master’s degree in Fiscal Law from Groningen University and an Executive Master in Finance & Control of the VU Amsterdam (CIMA).

Astrid joined Rabo Investments in August 2022. She is part of the Private Equity team and actively supports Dutch entrepreneurs in realising their growth ambition.
Astrid started her career at Rabobank as Global Trainee, during this graduate program she gained experience with the bank’s Sector Banking, Rabo Carbon Bank, Sales & Trading, and Rabo Investments departments. Before joining Rabobank Astrid completed various relevant M&A internships, both at Investment Banks as well as at Corporates. Astrid holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

Aukje joined Rabo Investments in 2021 with a focus on the junior capital proposition of RI. She has several years of experience as an investment banker and manager in both the international wholesale and mid-market domain, in equity and debt markets. In her current role, she focuses on equity investments for fast growing companies in the mid-market domain. She’s passionate about creating sustainable value and growth together with diverse management teams through organisational improvements and strategic business initiatives.
She started her career at SocGen and Credit Lyonnais as an equity research analyst. After her position as senior credit analyst with Lloyds, she joined Rabobank in 2005 and fulfilled various positions in Acquistion Finance, Portfolio Management, Sustainability and FR&R Restructuring NL (team manager). Aukje holds an MBA from the University of Durham, UK.

Bar joined Rabo Investments in April 2021 after completing the Rabo Global Traineeship. Her genuine passion for impact investing have driven her to join the Ventures team where she can combine her background in sustainability and finance to contribute to the success and growth of start-ups.
Bar started her career at Rabobank in April 2020 as a global trainee, during which she worked for Global Network Management, Wholesale Sustainable Business Development, Rabo Investments and Mergers & Acquisitions. Since joining Rabo Investments she strives to scale start-ups while contributing to the wider ‘growing a better world together’ mission of Rabobank. Bar holds a Master’s degree in Sustainability and Innovation from HEC Paris.

Bas serves as an Executive Director for Rabo Investments Private Equity. In this capacity he works with Rabobank leadership teams to design and execute the Private Equity agenda, and provides oversight on investments and partnerships. Prior to joining Rabobank as Executive Director, Bas worked for Heineken, both in the Netherlands and abroad, in senior roles in marketing innovation, commercial strategy, supply chain and finance. Bas started his career in consulting and is currently finalizing his MBA at Wageningen University & Research and TIAS Business School.

Bas joined Rabo Investments in 2018 as an investment manager in the private equity team. He has a keen interest in actively working with entrepreneurs and management teams to provide strategic support helping them to realize their ambitions.
Bas started his career in 2006 at ING, working in the corporate bank, and subsequently at Rabobank’s wholesale division specializing in Acquisition Finance and Structured Finance where he was involved in multiple buyouts and tailor-made financial solutions across various industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Avans University of Applied Sciences in Breda.

Björn joined Rabo Investments in October 2022. Björn oversees and is responsible for the ESG strategy and execution across the whole portfolio of Rabo Investments. He has been with Rabobank for over 20 years and has held several positions in business banking, management and sustainability. Björn is a pioneer and expert in the Circular Economy.
In his former role in Sustainable Finance at Commercial Banking, he supported both clients and colleagues on sustainability related matters, such as structuring KPI’s for Sustainability linked loans, advising on Circular Economy business models and ESG. Alongside his professional experience in sustainability and circularity, Björn gained expertise in this field a.o. during his MBA study at Nyenrode Business University and postgraduate at Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership.

Boyd Joined Rabo Investments in July 2022, focussing on global Fund and Co-Investments in the Food & Agri, Sustainability and Energy Transition sectors as well as investments across various sectors in The Netherlands. Prior to RI, Boyd gained 2 years of experience at a Merger & Acquisition Boutique in the SME and mid-market segment where he specialized in Business Valuation, Financial Due Diligence and Corporate Law. Before that, he completed internships as a Strategy Consultant at Accenture, Stedin and Koninklijke BAM Groep with a focus on digital innovation and the energy transition.
Boyd holds both a Master’s degree in Business Development & Entrepreneurship from Utrecht University with a specialization in Entrepreneurial Finance and a Master’s degree in Financial Management (graduated cum laude) from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam with a specialization in Corporate Valuation.

Cindy joined Rabo Investments in May 2022 as business support officer for the Equity and Fund & Co team. After a career as management assistant in the IT & Offshore industry she started at Rabobank in 2019 as management assistant in the CIOO Domain.

Daniëlla is active for Rabo Ventures. She has a genuine passion for enabling entrepreneurs to grow their companies and to contribute to the banking4food strategy of Rabobank. Daniëlla joined Rabobank in March 2015 as a Corporate Management Trainee. Before joining Rabo Ventures, she was involved in creating and executing bespoke solutions for various corporate clients within the food & agri sector. Daniëlla has a long-standing involvement in innovation in the food and agri space, and co-founded an initiative to assist Kenyan dairy farmers leverage their own operational data to help them grow sustainably and to improve their access to finance. Daniëlla holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam.

Elena joined Rabo Investments in May 2022. She has over 10 years of investment banking experience and has been involved in various M&A transactions in the Netherlands and Belgium. With her broad background working with both large corporates and mid-market companies at Lazard, Alantra and ING, she will support our management teams in their growth ambitions. Elena holds a master degree in Finance & Investments from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

Faye is part of the Rabo Investments Corporate Venturing team, focusing on direct investments in the FinTech and Agtech space.
Previously, Faye started her career as a Rabobank Trainee in April 2021 and did rotations in a start-up of Rabobank Amsterdam, Rabo Investments, Rabo Carbon Bank and Sustainable Capital Markets. Faye has a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Digital Business. In her free time she is active in sports, either cycling, playing padel, golf and fitness.

Floris joined Rabo Investments in Feb 2018 and is now focused on all Fintech (Series A and B) investments and other strategic corporate venturing activities .
Before strengthening the corporate venturing team in Feb 2022, Floris was part of the Fund and Co-Investment Team within Rabo Investments, where he was responsible for developing the Impact investment strategy and the VC portfolio, in which he was actively involved, through Advisory Boards, Cornerstone Investor and IC member. Floris started his career in 2010 as Corporate Management Trainee and gained broad experience in Financial sector, ranging from Business Control to Financial Markets.
Floris holds several Board positions with our portfolio companies and is amongst others responsible for Ageras, Candis, Agro.Club, SurePay. He loves to explore new opportunities with entrepreneurs and engage with like-minded people. “people that take their work serious, but not themselves too much”. He wants to add value through his lateral thinking skills, result driven mindset and network.
In his spares time Floris is a dedicated father of three young kids and loves to explore and learn new things.

Francis joined Rabo Investments in November 2019.
Francis spent the early years of her career in international M&A for KPN Telecom, before setting up a global customer care company on behalf of KLM. She joined Private Equity firm NPM Capital in 2000, where she could leverage her business experience as well as her financial expertise in investing in medium to large sized (family owned) companies.
She decided to switch her career in 2009 to her other passion, art, in working as an exhibitions curator and writing a book about Michiel van Musscher, an unknown portrait painter in the Dutch Golden Age. After that she realised, she missed the impact and the ambition of the investments and she became responsible for setting up and managing early and later stage venture capital funds for InnovationQuarter until November 2019.
Francis choice for the VC/PE world results from a passion for innovation and a desire to make an impact in the world. She is one of the founders of Fundright, a VC initiative to increase diversity in investment funds and their portfolio companies. She is also board member of several funds and at Matrix/Science Park Amsterdam. Francis has a graduate degree in Business economics from the VU Amsterdam, and a bachelor’s degree in Art history from the University of Amsterdam.

Gabriela joined Rabo Investments in February 2024 to invest in startups that have the potential to create value with Rabobank. Prior to Rabobank, Gabriela served as Country Managing Director at Telefónica CVC unit in Brazil. She was responsible for the investment platform (seed to Growth stages) and for business development & value creation. As a pro bono, she served at ABVCAP (the largest private equity and venture capital association in Brazil) where she represented many CVCs and aimed to bring more data to the sector.
With experience in the areas of innovation, cross border transactions and venture capital, Gabriela was also involved in the academia, holding positions as a Professor at FIAP and Insper – both Brazilian Universities. Gabriela is from Brazil and holds degrees in Law and in Business. Outside work, Gabriela has a special passion for food and co-founded a food company focused on health foods.

With a robust background in life sciences and venture capital, Katrien joined Rabo Investments in 2025. Previously, she held several key positions, including New Venture Director at Kurma Partners and Manager of New Ventures at VIB (Vlaams Instituut voor Biotechnologie). She has also served on the boards of various innovative companies such as Meiogenix, Bar.on, and Protealis. Before that, she worked as an advisor in life sciences at IWT, where she managed due diligence projects and financial analyses for Flemish biotech companies.
Katrien has a strong academic foundation with a Ph.D. from Ghent University. Additionally, she holds a Master’s degree in Bio-engineering from Ghent University and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Corporate Policy from EHSAL Management School.
Katrien is deeply committed to addressing climate change and its impacts. Throughout her career, she has actively engaged in initiatives aimed at promoting sustainable practices and supporting companies that focus on environmental innovation. Her work in the life sciences sector often intersects with her passion for climate action, driving her to support ventures that contribute to a greener future.

Ilias has been working for RI since March 2014. He focuses mainly on Private Equity fund investments. Ilias started working for Rabobank in 2013 as a Management Trainee. Following his traineeship of one year, he started working as an analyst in the Private Equity team focusing on debt-to-equity swaps and the management of this turn-around portfolio. Since 2017 Ilias started focusing more on private equity fund investments both in Dutch (sector agnostic) and International (Food & Agri focus) funds. Ilias graduated in Business Administration from the VU University Amsterdam.

Ilse joined the team in October 2020, focusing on global Funds and Co-Investments in the Food & Agri sector as well as local investments in the Netherlands across all sectors. Before joining the team, Ilse completed the Rabo Global Traineeship. During her traineeship she gained experience in Acquisition Finance, Financial Restructuring & Recovery, Financial Advisory & Solutions and Rabo Investments. Ilse holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Amsterdam.

Ingrid has been working for RI since May 2012 and handles file management, process control and administration. Ingrid has been employed by Rabobank since 1986, and has worked as an employee of credit management at Rabobank Amsterdam in the past few years. In 2018 Ingrid completed her HBO module Corporate Law.

Jeroen joined Rabo Ventures in January of 2025 driven by his deeply felt desire to make an impact and help nourish a world with 10 billion people. He joins after a distinguished career in Management Consultancy (OC&C Strategy Consultants), Private Equity (VE Partners) and the Food & Agri sector (Cargill). Prior to joining Rabo Ventures he served in dual roles as Chief Growth Officer and Chief Commercial Officer on the management team of Protix, the global market leader in insect ingredients for food and feed.
Jeroen holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering & Management from the University of Groningen and a Master of Laws from the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He was honoured to be included in the ‘Next Leadership 50’ by MT/Sprout Magazine (NL) and Vlerick Business School (BE) in 2022.

Jorg has been with RI since October 2018. After internships with Porsche China and Avedon Capital Partners in Düsseldorf, he started his career as a global management trainee at Rabobank. After his traineeship he gained relevant experience within the Rabobank Acquisition Finance Group. Jorg holds a Master’s degree in Management (University College London) and Corporate Law (Maastricht University). Being raised in a family business and having a strong interest in entrepreneurship, at RI he supports a variety of SME’s with realising growth.
Jorg is involved with portfolio companies JOZ, V&S and Havatec, where amongst others, he has been part of a Project Management Office to coordinate various change- and improvement initiatives.

Kars joined Rabobank in 2019, gaining experience across multiple departments through the Rabo Global Traineeship. In September 2021, he became part of Rabo Investments’ Fund & Co-Investment team, where he focuses on co-investments and fund investments across Europe and North America. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Law from the University of Leiden.

Khadija is an Investment Associate Director at the Rabo Investments Corporate Venturing team, within RI she focusses on strategic fund investments.
Khadija joined Rabobank in 2017 and was initially part of the Rabo Frontier Ventures team, a fund focusing on strategic investments in Fintech/Agtech and spin outs. Within this team she worked on strategic projects with the business lines and successfully cooperated on several first investments of the fund like AgroStar and Komgo. In 2021, she transitioned to the Rabo Investments team, where she is now focused on fund investments and other strategic corporate venturing activities.
In her current role, Khadija has directed and shaped the fund investment strategy and is responsible for building a strong fund portfolio with strategic added value. Under her leadership the portfolio now contains over 10+ top tier Venture Capital funds like Balderton, HV and Speedinvest.
In her spare time, Khadija is a mother of two, enjoys exploring new fields like Criminology and volunteers to support individuals in managing their finances.

Koen joined Rabo Investments Corporate Venturing in May 2024 focusing on Fintech investments and other strategic corporate venturing activities.
Prior to joining Rabobank, Koen was an investment advisor providing fundraising and investment consultancy to selected startups, venture capital funds and family offices across Europe. Previously, he was a senior investor at Tengelmann Ventures (now CUSP Capital) where he led and managed investments in technology startups. Koen started his investing career with various M&A and corporate development roles at Sony, Endemol and Axel Springer.
Koen graduated from the Rotterdam School of Management and CEMS at HEC Paris as well as the College of Europe.

Laura has a focus on fund and co-investments with a core focus on impact venture funds and impact or energy transition buyout funds. She joined Rabobank in 2013 as a management trainee and has worked with Financial Advisory solutions (FAS) and in the direct private equity team. Laura studied business economics and financial economics in Rotterdam.

Leopoldo is an Investment Associate at the Rabo Investments Corporate Venturing team where he focuses on direct FinTech investments.
Leopoldo was previously a technology equity research analyst at ABN AMRO / ODDO BHF where he successfully worked on IPO projects as CM.com (CPaaS) and Cherry (IT Hardware) as well as initiation reports (Avantium, Cabka, IMCD, etc.). He started his career by completing a traineeship at ABN AMRO where he rotated across different departments as M&A, ECM, DCM and Equity Research. Leopoldo holds a Master’s degree in Management from the London School of Economics. Outside of work, Leo is an avid outdoors enthusiast and can often be spotted surfing in Wijk aan Zee or snowboarding somewhere in the alps.

Malaya has joined RI in August 2019, where he helps Dutch entrepreneurs reach their ambitious growth goals. Between his experiences as a small business owner, working in a start-up and being part of a global strategy consulting firm, he got to appreciate the venturous and open way of working of RI when doing Commercial Due Diligence work for them. After having closely supported SME and midmarket companies as a management consultant, he now combines his business sense and inquisitiveness to help entrepreneurs reach their goals with RI’s financial solutions. Malaya holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Delft.

Margreet joined Rabo Investments in August 2017 as Senior Office Manager. She assists the Head of the department and is secretary of the Investment Committee.
She started at Rabobank as Executive Assistant in 2013 after a long period living abroad and working for the Dutch Embassy in London and Brussels in several positions. Margreet graduated in business law from the University of Leiden and started her career in 1987 when she joined the Ministry of Finance as policy officer.

Martijn Scholtes is Head of the Corporate Venturing team. This team invests in early-stage Fintech companies with the aim to explore new business models and emerging technologies for the bank. Martijn has over 20 years’ experience in different roles with Rabobank ranging from Mergers & Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Turnaround Equity and Group Finance. He started the corporate venture capital activity or Rabobank in 2017 and was responsible for multiple spin-outs of Rabobank, fintech partnerships and VC fund investments. He is also member of the Innovation Board, overseeing new innovation projects at Rabobank. Martijn lives in Rotterdam, proud father of two adolecents and enjoys spending time with family and outdoor activities.

Martin has been working for Rabo Investments since Augustus 2021 as Senior Business Controller. In this role he supports the Finance Director and focuses mainly on the financial side of the department. Before that he worked at the Finance & Accounting department of Rabobank for three years. Martin started his career at KPMG where he worked in various positions within the International Business Support department. Martin holds a Master’s degree Accounting & Control and an Executive Master in Finance & Control of the VU Amsterdam (CIMA).

As of October 2024, Myrthe is responsible for the Fund & Co-investments of Rabo Investments. Key focus of the team is on global Funds and Co-investments in the Food & Agri sector and Energy transition as well as local investments in the Netherlands across all sectors. Before this role, Myrthe was responsible for the European and Dutch Fund Investments and global Co-Investments within the team. Prior to RI, Myrthe gained experience within Leveraged Finance and Corporate Finance (Sector Banking Origination) at Rabobank, bringing relevant deal experience and sector knowledge to portfolio companies and partners. Myrthe holds a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Maastricht.

Nick joined Rabo Investments in Q1 2023, focusing on fast growing innovative companies within the energy domain that support the energy transition. He has 13+ years of experience working for investment companies mostly investing in clean energy, and ranging from large scale renewable project investments, fund investments, buy-outs and venture capital. The last years Nick has been focussed mostly on start-ups and scale-ups in the energy tech domain.
Nick has a financial background and holds a double MSc. Degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Next to his role within RI, Nick holds (part time) positions as non-executive board member, IC member for an early stage VC fund and investment director for a family office.

Peter joined Rabo Investments in January 2023. He is part of the Private Equity team and is committed to helping portfolio companies further accelerate in their various growth phases.
Before joining RI, Peter gained direct private equity experience as an analyst at Victus Participations, where he focused on established Food & Agri companies in the Benelux. As a student, he completed relevant internships in M&A and Private Equity. Peter graduated magna cum laude with a Masters in Financial Economics from KU Leuven in Belgium with an extensive specialisation in Global Management at NEOMA Business School in France.

As of January 2022 Pieter is responsible for the Venture activities of Rabo Investments, where he can combine his investment experience to contribute to the positive change in Food & Agri chains and the impact of this to climate change. Before this role Pieter was active in the Dutch market where he was assisting growing companies. Before Rabo Investments Pieter has worked in the M&A teams at ING and Rabobank where he was leading transactions in the TMT sector and for private equity. He began his career at Triple Value Strategy Consultants (now Steward Requeen), where he advised companies on sustainable strategies from the conviction that the financial value creation and impact can go along together. Pieter studied Business Studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Roelant joined RI in December 2015, where he focuses on ambitious Dutch companies that want to grow further. Prior thereto he was active in the fields of capital structuring and acquisition finance at Rabobank, where he was involved with various management and leveraged buy-outs as well as strategic acquisitions. Realising growth and improvements together with management teams is what drives Roelant. He started his career at Rabobank as a management trainee in 2006. Roelant studied Business Administration at the VU Amsterdam and Law at the University of Amsterdam.

Rogier joined Rabo Investments in January 2021, focusing on Funds and Co-Investments in the global Food & Agri sector as well as investments in the Netherlands across all sectors. He brings along a longstanding experience and network in the financial sponsor community given his prior experience in a variety of roles in leveraged finance and sponsor coverage at Rabobank, in the Netherlands, Europe and US. Since Rogier joined Rabobank’s Leveraged Finance department in 2005 he has been maintaining and building relationships with the global financial sponsor community by originating and executing transactions for Private Equity clients.
Rogier has worked in both the European and the US market where he has been located in the New York office between 2015 and 2018. Before joining Rabobank, Rogier worked for 8 years with several Dutch mid-market M&A boutiques. Rogier holds a Master’s degree in Tax Law from Tilburg University.

Ronald has been working for RI since October 2016. Before that he worked in Control Rabobank for three years. Ronald started his career as a management trainee at ABN AMRO where he worked for six years in various positions within Audit. After ABN AMRO, Ronald worked for KPMG Transaction Services where he conducted financial due diligence. In this job, Ronald worked on several acquisitions, disposals and restructuring activities. Ronald studied Economics at VU Amsterdam. Ronald is also RC.

Rosan joined Rabo Investments in 2022. She is part of the private equity team and actively supports Dutch portfolio companies realizing their ambitions.
After having done various internships (NIBC, PWC, Deloitte), she started her career at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she worked as consultant for 4 years. At BCG she advised multinationals across many sectors, focusing on marketing, sales and pricing, corporate strategy and organizational transformations. As part of her development she was on secondment for half a year with Bol.com where she joined the business development department.
Rosan holds a Master’s degree in Econometrics and Management Science from the Erasmus School of Economics in Rotterdam, with a specialization in Quantitative Finance.

Saloni joined Rabo Investments in April 2023. She is a part of the ESG team. She is excited to work with the investment teams to recognize the added value of ESG and impact driven actions and integrate these in daily actions, eventually making it ‘business-as-usual’.
Before joining Rabo Investments, Saloni gained impact measurement and management experience at Triodos Investment Management, where she focused on improving the impact measurement and agenda of food focused funds. She pursued internships in Food innovation focused venture capital fund and Sustainability consultancies. As a student, she completed Masters in Strategy & international Management from University of St Gallen in Switzerland and Masters in Global Business Sustainability from Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands.

Sanne joined Rabo Investments in August 2022, where she is part of Rabo Ventures. Within the Ventures team she can combine her passion for technology and innovation to contribute to the success of groundbreaking food and ag start-ups
Sanne started working for Rabobank in April 2021 as a Rabo Global Trainee, during which she gained experience in Sustainable Entrepreneurship, Corporate Finance, Innovation (FoodBytes Digital), and Rabo Investments. Sanne holds a Master’s degree in Innovation Sciences from the University of Technology in Eindhoven, where she specialized in strategy, policy & innovation.

Shishir joined Rabo Ventures in December 2021, following his deep passion for environmental sustainability, food & agriculture, and investing. He joins after spending the previous decade in management consulting at Bain & Company and Frontier Strategy Group, with experience across Southeast Asia, Japan, and Western Europe, focused on investment advisory and strategy. In his most recent role, he advised top-tier PE clients on issues across the investment lifecycle from executing commercial diligences to creating post-acquisition value-creation plans to designing fund strategies.
He has also managed major programs alongside senior executives in agriculture, food, and technology industries. Shishir holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Singapore Management University.

Sjoerd joined Rabo Investments in August 2022, focussing on global Fund and Co-Investments in the Food & Agri sector as well as investments across various sectors in the Netherlands. He started his career at Rabobank in April 2020 as a relationship manager in the SME segment. Before joining the team, Sjoerd completed the Rabo Global Traineeship where he gained experience in Corporate Lending, Corporate Venturing, Trade & Commodity Finance and Rabo Investments.
Sjoerd holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from Tilburg university, with a specialization in sustainable corporate entrepreneurship.

Tamara studied at the Dutch Aviation College where tourism, hospitality and aviation were the main elements. For this education she did a traineeship in London in the hotel industry, after that she started her career at Schiphol Airport at KLM.
She made a career switch to the banking sector in 2006 and started as an assistant at Rabo Securities in Amsterdam, a former investment part of the Rabobank. After Rabo Securities was migrated to Rabobank Utrecht, she worked for 10 years at Markets (Dealingroom) assisting several departments like Debt Capital Markets, ECM and Equity Sales, Trading & Research.
Tamara has more than 15 years experience, working in an investment banking environment. In 2022 she joined Rabo Investments supporting the Heads of Corporate Venturing and the Ventures team.

Tobin joined Rabo Investments in August 2022 following the completion of the Rabo Global Traineeship. During his graduate program Tobin gained experience with the bank’s Private Equity, Venture Capital, Private Debt and Digital Payments & Identity divisions. As part of the Rabo Ventures team he focusses on high growth Food and Ag Tech businesses across Europe, the US and Israel.
Before joining the bank, Tobin completed various M&A Private Equity and operational internships in the Netherlands and South East Asia. Tobin graduated cum laude with a Masters degree in Business Administration specialising in Finance and Investment.

Dirk joined Rabo Investments in December 2024. He is part of the Analyst Pool and works with all Rabo Investments teams. Before joining Rabo Investments, Dirk completed internships at Rabo Investments and Deloitte (M&A). Dirk holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Pascal joined Rabo Investments in January 2025. He is part of the Analyst Pool and works together with all Rabo Investments teams.
Pascal has various internship experience ranging from Equity Research to Hospitality Real Estate Investing. Before joining Rabo Investments as a full-time analyst he completed a 4 month internship in the department. Pascal holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Floris joined Rabo Investments in October 2024. He is part of the Analyst pool and works together with all Rabo Investments teams.
Floris started his career at Rabobank through the Advisory & Investments program. During this program, he gained experience at Rabo Investments, Financial Advisory & Solutions (FAS), Sponsor Coverage, and M&A. Before joining Rabobank, Floris completed internships at Nordian (Private Equity) and IKEA (M&A and Venture Capital). Floris holds a Master’s degree in Finance & Investments from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

George joined Rabo investments in September 2024. He is part of the Analyst pool and works together with all Rabo Investments teams. He is motivated to help companies further accelerate in their growth phases.
Before joining Rabo Investments, George completed internships at Rabo Investments (Private Equity Team), Koppert Cress and NPM Capital (Private Equity). George holds a Master’s degree in Financial Economics from the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
